| INTUITIVE DANGERS Directing tension on a muscle/tendon and then moving that
muscle/tendon through its full range of motion allowing it to slide under the
tension/friction point to loosen up adhesions could potentially inflame,
irritate, and tighten the very muscle the therapist was trying to loosen up.
Performing similar tension and movements on nerve could
result in nerve damage, sensory loss, and motor weakness.
Improperly directed tension could collapse/compromise
arterial supply. Although, temporary it could be very uncomfortable for the
patient.
