Cupping is an ancient Chinese practice that involves placing a cup over the skin and using fire or suction to create a vacuum within the cup which draws the skin and superficial muscle layer into the cup.

This website will explain the history of cupping which dates back to 281 A.D., the different techniques used to perform cupping, the indications for the use of cupping, and the scientific evidence pertaining to cupping.
