century, investigations relating to the medicinal qualities of garlic
have exploded. In today's culture there are currently claims that garlic may
effect cardiovascular-related disease factors such as lipids, blood
pressure, glucose, atherosclerosis, and thrombosis. It is
purported that dietary garlic consumption is associated with decreased
odds of laryngeal, gastric, colorectal, endometrial cancer and
adenomatous colorectal polyps. It is also alleged to be a powerful
anti-oxidant. Additionally wine of garlic is supposed to be a good
stimulant for male-pattern baldness. |
