American Medical Student's Experience in India

As a fourth year medical student, I traveled to
India in December and
experienced how non-allopathic medicine is practiced. During the duration of the
three week visit, I was able to observe
Homeopathic Medicine,
Ayurvedic Medicine,
Yoga, Laughing Club, and general Dentistry.
Many different clinics and teaching hospitals were observed between the two
cities of Surat (my father's hometown) and
Ahmadabad (my mother's hometown) in
the state of Gujarat. Through this site, you will be able to take a
pictorial journey though my experiences with these practices.
