BREAST THERMOGRAPHY GUIDELINES
- 20 years of age: baseline thermogram
- 20 - 30 years of age: thermogram every 3 years
- 30 years of age and over: thermogram every year
Statistics indicate that 1/3 of all breast cancers occur between the ages of
20 and 44 years of age. These guidelines, therefore, include careful
breast monitoring during these years. With the addition of thermography,
interval cancers (cancers which show up between mammograms) are thought to be
detected much sooner.
