Creatine monohydrate has gained increasing popularity among athletes since the early 1990's. It is marketed as a source of energy which can increase an athlete's performance in short-duration, explosive exercises, making it particularly popular among weight lifters. This product is available in powder, pill, effervescent tablet, liquid, and carbohydrate-added powder forms.

Since its recent increase in popularity, there have been several studies examining the efficacy and safety of this product. This website was designed in conjunction with the PHR 461 course at Creighton University School of Medicine to examine the safety and efficacy of creatine supplementation. All information expressed in this website are for informational purposes only.
