The purpose of this website is to educate medical
students, patients and physicians about some of the common herbal remedies
that may pose a risk to patients about to undergo a surgical procedure.
This site will look at some of the most commonly used herbal
medications that may pose a risk to the surgical patient and any
supporting scientific evidence. This
site does not claim to prove the efficacy of any herbal remedies nor
should it be a substitute for speaking with your Doctor about the safety
