It was also used as a uterine stimulant and an anti-inflammatory agent. The Micmac and Malecite Indians used Tansy as an abortifacient. Used Today: Tansy is still used for its reported anti-inflammatory effects and to treat headache and fever. What you should know: Tansy is an abortifacient and may lead to SAB if used during pregnancy. Therefore, its use is not recommended. |
