It has also been used as an anti-pyretic, aphrodesiac, and an analgesic. Used Today: Vervain is used in the treatment of kidney stones, and as an analgesic. What you should know: Vervain results in increased uterine activity in vivo, and has been associated with SAB. Vervain is also reported to exert estrogenic effects. Its use during pregnancy is not recommended. |
